[BAILOUT 61]    Why KILL this Healthcare BILL in Congress?   Published March 16, 2010

After writing and publishing some 40 previous Editions of [BAILOUT] devoted to Healthcare Reform across America, I'm still perplexed when readers write back confused or antagonistic. What is it that I have not explained well enough? Here, on the eve of victory or defeat, are the main 3 reasons to KILL this BILL:

1)   Republicans want this wreckage of a Bill to pass. Yes, they do. Knowing from the start that they stood no chance of defeating true Healthcare Reform, their next best thing was to help pass the WORST Healthcare Reform Bill that ever existed.

But, they want Democrats to do it without Republican endorsement. If Democrats force this morally reprehensible Senate Bill upon the House, and it passes in any of its butchered forms, they know that the destined failure of Healthcare Reform over the next 2 years will be the Cornerstone for Republican Defeat of Obama in 2012.  The thiner the edge of passage, the sharper the scalpel to carve Obama's defeat.

2)   Within the thousands of pages of these Bills are buried clever tricks and phrases hidden by the Staffs of 3 Senate Committees, those writers of Senate Bills who once worked as paid Lobbyists, planted by the Healthcare Mafia to sabotage any Senate Bill by concealing a mine field within a camouflage of tedious complexity, mines designed to blow up at various times during the 10 years it takes to implement this Bill.

Additionally, more than 3,000 highly paid Lobbyists of the Healthcare Mafia of Corporations have harassed 60 Senators mercilessly for more than a year with what they want included or removed in any Bill passed.

The Healthcare Mafia of Corporations control the choke chains they installed on EVERY Member of Congress, in the form of THREE BILLION DOLLARS they have spent bribing Congress for 2 decades, so that Congress would never allow real Healthcare Reform to pass. By threatening to withhold Campaign Contributions, those choke chains on Democrats are being reeled in, link by link, even without any open threat to defeat them in 2010, but with just a friendly warning that they can shut down their Campaign money supply needed to win, and increase donations to their Republican opponents. All 435 Members of the House, and 1/3 of Senators, are up for re-election this November.

What we are watching -- in these final hours of this Battle against American Citizens by Legal Fictions known as Corporations -- is a Congressional pit of writhing souls in their agony of dishonesty, as their Masters' choke chains tighten, a scene being televised to the Nation in all its mesmerizing gory, which rivals Dante's Inferno. For those who vote FOR this Senate Bill, Hellfire is their destination.

3)   Passage of Healthcare Reform was always the goal of the Healthcare Mafia of Corporations, but only to be a Bill which Reformed their profits upward. Realizing from the start that Obama might have the power of votes in Congress, and the backing of the American people, their first job was to convince Obama and Congress that real Healthcare Reform would NOT be allowed to be discussed.

That was actually an easy task, given that they had for years purchased Senator Max Baucus of Montana, and put him in charge of the Senate Finance Committee, loaded up with Staffers who were their former paid Lobbyists. With no public fanfare -- and even tho Obama made public statements that Single Payer was the only way to guarantee coverage of All Americans -- it was easy for Healthcare Mafia Heavyweights to convince Obama to keep Universal Single Payer Healthcare off the table for discussion.

This was absolutely critical for success. Universal Single Payer cuts the Healthcare Mafia of Corporations forevermore OUT of control. It does not just reduce their Profits. It puts a permanent end to the Health Insurance Industry, and Wall $treet Bankers could not allow that to happen. It took only a modest, privately delivered suggestion to Obama -- BEFORE he ever set foot in the White House --to assure that Universal Single Payer Healthcare for All Americans would never see the light of day in Congress.

Every serious Healthcare Reformer, from Obama down, acknowledges that the only way to bring Healthcare to All Americans is the same way other civilized nations on the Planet have discovered: with Universal coverage of everyone, thru a Single Payer system which does NOT depend on generating endless Profits for Private Corporations. This Senate Bill leaves Corporate Privateers in control of life-and-death decisions. If it is in the best interest for the Profits of these Private Corporations that you be left to die and your life-fortune pillaged, you WILL be left to die. The former name of Privateers was Pirates.

Such a Bill, on the face of it -- no matter how many pages it contains to muddle and conceal this fact -- is absolutely morally indefensible. God shall not Bless America for passing any version of this Bill.

For-profit Corporations are not human. They do not bleed if you cut them. Corporations are Legal Fictions invented by Lawyers. Corporations were designed specifically to be sociopathic, single-purpose instruments for control of money and power. The ONLY purpose of a Corporation is to make Profit for its owners. Anything which impedes Profit must be removed or circumvented.

Corporations have no moral conscience, have absolutely no feelings if they murder, maim, torture or steal. It matters not one whit, so long as Profit is realized. And if those who run the Corporations must be rewarded with outrageous Salaries and Bonuses to guarantee success, then that's just part of the cost of doing business.

Bribing Congress is a no-brainer. The Military-Industrial Complex which Republican President Ike Eisenhower warned us about a half-century ago has morphed out of control into the Military-Industrial-Energy-NewsMedia-Healthcare Complex, growing more arms reaching into every sanctuary where ordinary citizens might hide for safety from it.

During the Healthcare Debate, we learned -- but not from the NewsMedia Complex of For-profit Corporations -- that the Health Insurance Industry has been murdering 45,000 Americans each year for lack of Health Insurance, 1 every 12 minutes, 5 per hour, 24/7. Millions more are tortured each year by refusing coverage for what they unfailingly paid monthly premiums to guarantee themselves reliable Healthcare in their time of need, only to discover that the Policy they paid for fails them.

This Senate Bill claims to cover some of these Americans, but not all. The Congress of the United States is being asked to pass a Bill which will guarantee that Americans shall continue to be murdered and tortured by For-profit Corporations during the next decade of its implementation, and indefinitely into the future.

Once passed, this Bill cannot be fixed later. Whatever passes is what the American People are stuck with. Once momentum is lost, the Healthcare Mafia will not allow it to come up again, EXCEPT to increase profits for the Healthcare Mafia of Corporations.

The NewsMedia Complex of For-profit Corporations, led by FuxFoxNoose, is there to make you so angry that you will urge passage of any Piece-of-Garbage Bill, without knowing what has been concealed inside it. They are conning you into doing exactly what they want you to do. Unplug your mainline addiction to TV Propaganda/News and start using your brain to think about what they are doing to you.

Members of the United States Congress are poised this week to sell you out, in more ways than you can imagine possible. Only a handful, like Dennis Kucinich and a small band of others, have steadfastly pushed for Universal Single Payer Healthcare, as the ONLY way to provide Healthcare for ALL Americans. On Monday, the House Budget Committee voted to send the House Healthcare Bill to the House Rules Committee, who on Thursday are expected to draft changes to make the House Bill match the Senate Bill rammed thru on Christmas Eve. On Tuesday, the Rules Committee outlined a Democratic Plan to pass the Senate Healthcare Bill WITHOUT an actual vote on it in the House, in defiance of democracy itself.

Many around the Nation have been foolishly imploring the House NOT to pass their version of a Healthcare Reform Bill without a Public Option.

There never was any possible Public Option. It was a farce and a sham, put forth to mislead and fool the American People into thinking that weak Democrats would provide for all Americans, if only they wuz let. Public Option was alway a lie, told solely to cover for Democratic Congressional cowardice.

All kinds of Unintended Consequences shall arise if this untried and unknown Senate Bill is signed into Law. Some are already showing themselves. The Washington Post reports a National Business Group on Health study of 507 Business with over a thousand employees: Many will charge more to cover spouses, dispense financial rewards or penalties based upon lab tests, and exclude overweight employees, anticipating significantly higher premiums, deductibles and co-payments from Health Insurance Corporations. All of this because Congress refuses to look at Universal Healthcare for All Americans, where NONE of this would be happening.

On Monday, President Obama called for Democratic Lawmakers to have "courage" in voting for Healthcare Reform. The simple truth is this: IF this Senate Bill can be sent to Obama for Signature by the Reconciliation Process of only 51 votes, THEN SO CAN Universal Single Payer Healthcare.

There still is, and always has been, ONE and ONLY ONE courageous way to cover the cost of Healthcare for All Americans, to protect us from murder and torture for Profits of fictional Corporations.

To bless Americans of future generations with the safety, security and peace of mind which ONLY Universal Single Payer Healthcare for All Americans can provide, KILL this BILL.

This is NOT a financial decision. This is a moral decision.

Shall America continue to murder its citizens?

OR shall America provide Healthcare for every American, from birth to death, regardless of race, religion, condition of their health, who they vote for, or how much money they have?

It's not too late to avoid the Greatest Trainwreck in Healthcare History!

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) said Monday he thinks House Democratic leaders are not close to having the votes to pass health reform, that they could be as many as 16 votes short. A Plan for Democracy Restoration Gene Messick

I'm old enough to live on Social Security, and, for most of my adult life, I've heard about Campaign Finance Reform.

It's a total fraud. First-time Candidates promise they'll do it. Once elected, they forget all about it. "It's not practical," they say. "It's too complicated. We've got more important things to worry about!" Like a Bill to name a bridge after someone.

In North Carolina, we bear the stigma of having allowed corruption of campaign financing to take a giant leap forward by electing Jesse Helms to the US Senate, for 30 years.

Jesse's national contribution extractor, The Congressional Club, reached across state lines like never before to help elect CONservatives all across America. If you can't raise enough money in your state, go next door. Or go continental. During its existence, 1966 to 1973, the Club raised $100 million to elect CONservatives, during a time when $100 million was real money.

Candidates of both Parties have now adopted this strategy, nationwide. This distortion of democracy has grown to such gargantuan proportions, that big money powerhouses outweigh the influence of those of us who can vote.

But if public officials are supposed to represent the constituency who elect them, why are they forced to serve the desires of those who cannot vote for them? For any representative democracy to work, deciding the laws we live by must be done by those elected, not by those who paid to have them elected.

Maybe NC should take the lead in meaningful change, given that it allowed the seeds to be planted that gave this corruption of democracy a chance to grow out of control.

Campaign Finance Reform is a fraud, because immediately it conjures up a set of rules which rivals IRS in complexity. Rules look like they work, but they're designed to create loopholes for clever lawyers and politicos to figure a way to slip through. But they look good for a politically naive American public. Plug one leak, and simultaneously drill two more holes. The money pot only grows bigger.

It's happened every time any attempt has been made. Works about one election cycle, then it's chopped and mangled, requiring another Campaign Finance Reform.

So why doesn't it ever reform anything? Because all those who make money off of gathering money don't want it to. Campaign Finance Reform is always designed to fail.

What can be done?

Restore democracy in America. Jesse discovered how to corrupt our democracy with money. Time to return to basics.

One person, one vote. To protect America from foes, both foreign and domestic.

Why should an unregistered voter in Texas, Wyoming or New York be allowed to purchase votes in Carolina? And with Corporations daily becoming multi-nationals, who is really electing people to public office in America?

In a representative democracy, every elected official has a precise geographical boundary which decides who can vote to elect any Candidate. Boundaries are clearly established, regardless of occasional gerrymandering.

Money = voting.

Therefore, the only people allowed to vote with their money -- to make campaign contributions -- must be registered to vote within any given political boundary.

It's idiotically simple. And does not require a five pound rule book, dripping with loopholes, to describe it.

If you are not registered to vote, you cannot give any money to any Candidate.

Doesn't matter which Party you register for, or to which Candidates you give money. That's your free choice. Just so long as you're registered to vote in your Candidate's election.

Corporations cannot vote. PACs cannot vote. Unions cannot vote. Political Parties cannot vote.

Defilers of our democracy live on Wall Street; on Oil Avenue; in Banker's Alley; on K Street and Greed Boulevard, where they plot with each other to overthrow American democracy.

They are Unregistered Aliens. Therefore, NONE of these Alien influence buyers may contribute money to any Candidate, in any election anywhere in America.

Obviously, the fat cats will scream: Political fundraisers. Lawyers. Lobbyists. TV networks. Power brokers.

Why? Because automatically, with one simple law, the unbelievably obscene flow of money they provide to buy Candidates, suddenly dries to a trickle.

For politicians, reduced cost means less time and money wasted raising campaign funds, and more time spent on the people's business of lawmaking. They might even find time to read laws before they vote to pass them! What a unique idea.

And you know what? More ordinary Americans -- those NOT blessed with personal wealth or rich friends -- will be able to run for public office.

Democracy restored. All with one simple law.
